Dr. Ella Anghel
Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Dr. Ella Anghel is a postdoctoral research fellow at the TIMSS & PIRLS International Study Center. Ella holds a Ph.D. in Measurement, Evaluation, Statistics, and Assessment from Boston College. Prior to completing her Ph.D., she earned an M.A. in Clinical and School Psychology from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a B.A. in Psychology and Education from The University of Haifa.

Ella's general research interests involve technology-enhanced education. She is especially interested in how big data can help inform assessment development and validation. At the International Study Center, she studies PIRLS process data and its potential contribution to understanding test-taking strategies in a digital environment.
